"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My Dearest,

I am looking for a well trusted worthy person who can receive my money for
me in his country through western union money transfer or by bank transfer,
i am Yusurf Younes, from Juba, Sudan, i am a member of the parliament in
my region, but i am just 24yrs old because my late father use contacts to
put me in that position before the civil war in my country.

Right now, i have lost my family, but i was able to take with me and my
father money which is worth $1.7 million dollars, and as i write to you the
money is with me. now i can not invest the money in the place where i am
now and that is why i am seeking for your assistance to receive the money
for me in your country. If you are interested, i will send the money to you
either by western union money transfer or to your bank account. for your
assistance, i will offer you 25% of the total fund. if you are interested
please get back to me.
