"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Business Proposal

Lucrative and Mouth-watering Business Offer,

I am an international negotiator and pricing specialist, I work with British government.  My job is to negotiate using my pricing skills to bring to a reasonable balance whatever my government wants to purchase internationally.
I have negotiated and purchased some oil installation equipment, Fighter Jets for the British Air force, Armored Jeeps for British Army. I have also negotiated with some foreign construction companies overseas that have come to do construction work in Britain such as Road Re-constructions, Building of new Stadia, Installations of Oil Equipments in Refineries etc.

In the process of all this, I make commission and sometimes I over inflate prices in percentage in my Negotiation and Prizing Quotations but I am restricted not to operate a foreign account. I have the sum of $10.8million in a private bank with a coded account number and an open beneficiary. I can present you as one of the contractors I have negotiated with in the past and you have executed your contract and the $10.8 million belongs to you as your balance payment.

With this arrangement, the government will immediately approve that the sum of $10.8 million be transferred to you, I will put together the documents to support this claim. Your physical presence shall not be needed and we shall not under this arrangement infringe on the laws.

Send me your name and phone number to commence conversation. I will be offering you 45% under this arrangement.

Sincerely,
Victor Taylor.
