"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: IVANKA MACEDO FROM UKRAINE

Dearest one,

I am Miss Ivanka Macedo, a Nationality of Ukraine but resides in
Athens, Greece with my father who was an expatriate with Voyage Gas,
until unfortunately he died 2 weeks ago as news came that my mother
(his wife) and my only brother were killed in the Russian invasion of
Ukraine. Before this sudden death tragedy which came upon us, my
parents had left some acquired reasonable sum of Money and 100kg of
Gold kept here in Athens and Total sum of USD $1,790,000 with a bank
which is ready to be shipped under the authorized license of my late
father and all I am soliciting is for urgent assistance in order to
secure my parent wealth and all his entitlement from company where he
worked, also to transport them out so that I can relocate to a well
secured country for my safety as i do not trust any one around me for
now.

I am soliciting for your full support and help/advice to receive these
funds and gold to a safe custody overseas country as I can not travel
back to my country Ukraine because of the ongoing war. I have
contacted a legal team here in Athens and now need a trustee and
investor overseas.

I have plans now to continue my Education and to invest in any good
business after my settlement, like real estate management which is
under my studies in school, but for now I need help to move on.

God bless you

Miss IVANKA
