"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Urgent Attention!

The US Federal Reserve in conjunction with the World Bank have agreed
to pay you a total sum of 1,500,000 USD compensation fund. The
compensation fund was signed to be paid to you as a result of all the
money you have lost to scammers, we received another email right now
from Annette Chang saying that you died in a car accident and before
you gave up in the hospital you gave her the power of attorney to
inherit your fund worth the sum of 1.5 Million USD and she agreed to
pay the Tax Clearance charge for your money to be transfer to her, we
need confirmation from you now before we give her the access to your
compensation fund, if we don't hear from you in the next three days,
then we are going to release the funds to her.
