"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: PLEASE I NEED YOUR URGENT HELP,PLEASE KINDLY GET BACK TO ME

Hello my beloved in the Lord

I am Mrs. Margaret Lee, from the republic of Ireland and born in the
state of Louisiana, USA. I am the wife of Late Mr. Wesley Lee; both
of us are citizens of the United States of America. My husband worked
with Anglo American Gold Mining Company in South Africa for twenty
years before he died. We were married for years without any children.
I am 60 years old by the grace of God. I am a new Christian convert
suffering from long term kidney cancer. My Husband died after a brief
illness that lasted for months. Before his death we both got
born-again as dedicated Christians. Since my late husband died, I
decided not to remarry again because of some personal reasons and our
love was too strong. When my late husband was alive he deposited the
sum of $20.5M (Twenty Million Five Hundred Thousand United State
Dollars) in the bank. This fund is a charitable donation that I
promise to donate to the less-privileged since I am going to die soon
according to the doctor and my health condition. I have a charitable
work and project for you to help me execute in your country, if you
can. I want you to help me utilize this fund to help the charitable
organization and Les-privileged in your society because I might not
survive this sickness and have short period of time to spend in this
world. In all indication from my doctor that my conditions is really
deteriorating and it is quite obvious that i wouldn't live more than
few months. So I decide to donate the sum of this $20.5m U.S dollars,
to the less privileged. May the grace of our lord the love of God and
the fellowship of holy spirit be With you and your family, Amen!
I wait for your urgent reply.
Remain blessed in the name of the Lord.
