"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings

Dearly Beloved,

I apologize to barge into your privacy as we don't know each other before, Kindly take your time to read my ordeal as I don't mean to hurt you as I was only a victim of circumstances.

I was determined to reach you by email as I just finished prayers over this predicament that befell me and my late husband. I was recently diagnosed with a complicated case of Cancer of the Breast and Diabetes which has affected my hearing and now my speech.

I'm Mrs. Marie Smith by name, I'm 58 yrs old widow to Mr. Idrisu Smith, who worked all his life with the Kuwait Oil Company (https://www.kockw.com) before his demise that occurred in a plane crash which took his life and that of our only son named Elvis. May their souls rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Due to my strong religious belief, I cannot remarry again as we were legally wedded in the church. Before his demise, He vowed to me that incase of any eventuality that his wealth must be channeled to help the downtrodden, orphanages and the less privileged in society, due to my present health condition and predicament.

I'm donating this funds to a trustworthy person or better still someone who has the fear of God that will properly use this 554,742 KWD ?.? (Kuwaiti Dinars) the way I'm going to instruct herein.

Honestly I want someone I can trust that will use these funds and provide succor to the poor and indigent persons, orphanages, and widows and for propagating peace to the house of God.

I'm left with this last decision because I don't have a child anymore to inherit this fortune, besides that my husband's relatives are not inclined to helping poor persons as they're too highly minded to deal with. I wouldn't want my deceased husband's hard-earned money to be misused or spent in such a way that is not pleasing to his last wishes before his demise.

Finally, I don't want any betrayal of trust where this inheritance will be used in an ungodly manner. I don't want a spendthrift or anyone who'll profligate this whole fund in case I'm no more tomorrow so my soul can be at peace as my late husband demanded. Please I ask again, can I trust you with this fortune? Can I vouch for your honesty, trust and sincerity? If yes, then without delay send me the following details herein below:

(1) Your name and surname
(2) Contact Address
(3) Age and Occupation
(4) Marital Status/Religion
(5) Direct telephone
(6) A scan copy of your valid identity to recognize you as my beneficiary

I would be waiting for the above details without delays. God bless you and your family.

Best Regards
Mrs. Marie Smith
