"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

made a huge fixed deposit in our.Bank before his untimely death without any
registered next of kin designate to his account in our office, which has
automatically qualified his deposits for open beneficiary mandate, and I
seek your partnership for us to claim this money.

I desire your partnership for us to claim these deposit because the
deceased involved is from your region, which is an added advantage for us,
So I seek your good cooperation to pose as a beneficiary to the deceased by
way of supportive correspondence to our bank, for us to claim these huge

professionally, but secretly on information that may be required of you
from our office in a most discreet manner for us to succeed in this
partnership for our mutual disbursement.

I will take care of the internal authentication aspects of the operation in
our office by updating your personal information about the deceased? data
profile in our office as the deceased? beneficiary to legalize this entire
operation. As the internal comptroller of the bank, we were supposed to
declare the deceased's deposit for profit sharing by next quarter before
