"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Morning,

Please be informed that my contact with you is defined as personal, without the consent or awareness of LOM Asset Management Limited, therefore i would appreciate if you consider this as strictly confidential.

I have in my possession the sum of $2,300,000.00 USD, this fund was reserved in our security vault in 2008 by a private client from Honduras, unfortunately he and his immediate family were killed by rival drug cartel in mexico in 2014. The said client do not have a third beneficiary and all efforts to reach his extended family proved abortive whereas i am his financial advisory and sole manager of this deposits.

My friend, i have an offer for you which would benefit you financially however, i would like to discuss this offer via a more secure means as i do not want this to jeopadize my 36 years career as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) but since i am not sure if this email is till active i would therefore wait for you soonest response so we can initiate a confidential channel of communication.

I look forward to your email.
