"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This email uses a separate reply address that is different from the sender address. Spammers use this to get replies even when the original spam sending accounts have been shut down. Also, sometimes the sender addresses are legitimate looking but fake and only the reply address is actually an email account controlled by the scammers.

How are you doing ?
I am sorry for contacting you through this media.I know we have never
met before. My belief in contacting you is to
have a long time business relationship with you . My full name is Mrs
Mayveline P. Bote, the wife of late Eng Ferdinand "Ferdie" Bote. the
mayor of General Tinio, the biggest Nueva Ecija municipality in the
Philippines, my late husband was killed on Tuesday July 3.2018 , By
Unidentified men opened fire on his vehicle after he had visited the
National Irrigation Administration office in Cabanatuan City .

My late husband was elected as a mayor in 2016 under the People's
Reform Party. Before he became a politician he was a successful
businessman according to his 2016 certificate of candidacy, he run his
business through Asian and African,he was allegedly ordered killed by
a certain Christian Saquilabon over a contract to develop a national
park in his town, the Philippine National Police (PNP) announced that
I cannot move out from my country until the investigation is over.

My late husband families has been threatening my life since my husband
died demanding my late husband properties documents that is under my
control, I`m contacting you to help me in securing my late husband sum
of ( $10,5OO,000, USD ) deposited in a security and finance company in
ABROAD, also help me to invest the money in any good investment that
will benefit both families in future .I have all the vital documents
that back deposit with me, which i will send a copy of all documents
to you as soon as you show your interest and trust to help me and my
children out of this dangerous situation .
