"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This is Mr. Christopher Wray the FBI director.

There's a compensation funds in your name that worth the sum of $5.5
million USD, which the Government has been approved on your behalf to
compensate you, but it came to our noticed that you are communicating
with some imposter's claiming to be an organization or office who has
the money for you, and they will be demanding you to make an advance
payment before you can receive that your funds,
But I want to let you know that those people are internet fraudstar
who steal money from peoples hard earns money.

So I advised you to stop any other communication you are having with
anyone or any office who claimed to have your funds, because all
they want is to scam money out from you and you won't receive anything,
If you insist on communicating with them we are going to arrest you
and file you for
fraudulent activities and the court will charge you some years in prison.
so restrict them from sending you false email or texting you right
