"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: GREETING TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Good morning my beloved in the Lord,
However, this is not obligatory and I will in no way oblige you to honour
against your will. I am Mrs. Jennifer Edmond from the Republic of France.
I am married to Mr. Patrick Edmond from the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire who
worked with the French Embassy here in Côte d'Ivoire for nine years before.
He passed away in 2017.
Before his death, we were both born again Christians. Since his death, I
have decided not to remarry and not to have children outside the marital
home.
which the Bible forbids.
When my late husband was alive, he deposited the sum of $3,200,000.00
million in a bank. Recently, my doctor told me that I would not survive the
next eight months because of cancer problem. Knowing my condition, I
decided to donate this fund to an orphanage or a good organisation that
will use this money the way I will.
I want to use this money in the way I will instruct it here.

I want a good person who will use this fund for orphanages, widows,
spreading the word of God and striving for God's house to be maintained.
I made this decision because I have no children who will inherit this money
and my husband's parents are not Christians, not even good at all because
they are the ones who killed my husband to get all my late husband's
properties and I don't want my husband's efforts to be used by unbelievers.
I do not want a situation where this money is used in an ungodly way. That
is why I am taking this decision. I am not afraid of death from where
I know where I am going. I know that I am going to be in the Lord's fold.
Exodus 14:14 says that "the Lord will defend my cause and I will keep
silent".
With God, anything is possible. As soon as I receive your message regarding
your interest in this fund to help the charity home and the less
privileged, I will give you more details about this fund.
May God bless you and look forward to your reply.
Your sister Jennifer Edmond
