"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Re: ONLINE DOMICILIARY ACCOUNT BANKING

The Federal Reserve Board, Division of Banking Supervision and Regulation
has unanimously reached a decision that you will be paid via Online
Internet Banking.

The Federal Reserve Board paying bank is appointed to open an online
domiciliary bank account in your name. This is to ease bureaucratic
bottlenecks associated with the payment of the funds to you.

Your total value amount will be deposited into your online domiciliary
account as your initial deposit. You will have personal control over your
online domiciliary internet banking account.

To commence the online domiciliary bank account protocol, it's official
that you fill out the reconciliation and verification form attached to this
message.

Upon submission of the form, your payment will be validated and we will
furnish you with further instructions for the opening of your online
domiciliary bank account.

We look forward to your co-operation so as to enable us to serve you better.

Best Regards,

Francis Buzard
