"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: NOTICE OF YOUR UNDELIVERED AND UNCLAIMED PACKAGE

Dear,

I am Diplomat Kevin McDermott, I have in my custody your fund valued
at $1.1 Million United States Dollars, which I have been officially
assigned to deliver to you. This man whom I attached his Identity
Card, informed us that you are incapacitated and that you no longer
live in your house but in a nursing home. He also informed us that you
gave him the authority to claim your fund and also to use part of it
for charity. It is vital that you get back to me at your earliest
convenience via my email or send me a direct text on +1(445)201-2171).
You can also WhatsApp me on same number to confirm this information,
so that i will not release the fund to someone you did not authorize
since you are incapacitated at the moment.

NOTE: I will also need the phone number and address of the nursing
home where you are staying at the moment.

Kind Regards

Kevin McDermott
