"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Fund Beneficiary

This is to officially inform you we've intercepted a consignment box loaded with cash worth about $2.5million, when interrogating the
Diplomatic agent who carries the consignment box, he said to us that the consignment box is due to delivery to your house address that
you're the beneficiary to the alleged fund, but he wanted to divert the $2.5million to his personal use since you're unable to pay it
AIRPORT $195 logistics fee, that could enable him fly and land to your airport and then proceeded to your house successfully without any
interference by any Authority.

However, you needed to reconfirm your details as follows, so we would crosscheck with details documents attached with the consignment cash
box.

(1) Full Names:
(2) Residential Address:
(3) Age / status:
{4} Phone Number:
(5) Occupation:

We would also send you the video clip of your consignment cash box, if requested, but be informed your consignment box will not leave to your
address without the $195 AIRPORT logistics fee being paid NOTE: failure to get back to this office within 72hrs (3)days, the consignment cash box will be returned to the U.S Treasury of the
States account.

Await your prompt response

Sincerely Yours.
Mr. David Hatch.
