"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

politician, who served as a member of the New South Wales Legislative
Council between 1991 and 2011, representing the Labor Party. I was a
Minister for Fisheries and the Minister for Mineral Resources from
1999–2003. I have been convicted to 7 years in prison alongside my son
Moses Obeid for a business I did worth $30 Million.

I kept the money in a bitcoin investment trading company which now the
value of the bitcoin is about $176 Million. I am 79 years old now, I
don't know how long I will be alive, my health is deteriorating
rapidly. I need your assistance to help transfer the in vestment money
from the bitcoin investment trading company to my grandson. I am
willing to give you 15% if you are trustworthy. Please get back to me
asap. Thanks for your time.
