"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I learnt of a numbered account with credit balance Twenty Million British Pounds that belongs to an American millionaire who is a victim in the ongoing war in Ukraine. I have relevant data to claim this fund, but I cannot make the claim being a bank staff. Please accept my offer to be the Beneficiary and earn forty percent of the fund, when transferred to your account. Upon your consideration and acceptance of this offer, please send (Your full name, contact address and your phone number), so I can reprofile the fund and open the payment ticket in your name as the beneficiary, be rest assured of all legal formalities for successful release of the fund to you. I will wait for your urgent reply, so we can discuss details and proceed the transaction. Thanking you in anticipation of your immediate response.
