"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: hello

Good Day,

My Name is Mr. Paul Tuffa, the Chief foreign Operating Officer of Standard
Bank of South Africa, I urgently need a reliable foreigner partner to carry
out this important deal with me.

An account was opened in my bank by one of our customers in the name of MR.
THOMAS BAHIA a Dutch National from Germany who made a fixed deposit of
$11,500,000.00 (Eleven Million, five hundred Thousand United States
Dollars) and never showed up again. I later discovered that he died with
his entire family members in a plane crash that occurred in Libya on the
12th of May 2010. Below is a link for your view.

Now, I want to present a foreigner as the next of kin to late Thomas so we
can make the claim, you can contact me if you are interested for more
detailed information on the transaction. Please, include your private phone
numbers for a voice talk and reply me through this email:

The sharing of the money will be shared in the ratio of 50% for me, 40% for
you and 10% to cover our expenses after the deal. I will be waiting for
your urgent response.

Thanks.

Mr. Paul.
