"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hopefully this email will meet you well, and also in good condition

I am writing to inform you that I have personally approved a
settlement payment of $4.500,000 (ATM Master Card) in your favor for
immediate delivery via US Postal Service in New York, NY.

To be honest, your chance of getting this fund is a maximum of 100%
due to various policies and funds of the government and central banks
movement rules,You can only get this approved fund through a platform
based on an ATM MasterCard card that is controlled by central banks
that have been resisted by the US Postal Service to deliver to you.The
deadline to claim your ATM card is exactly one week after receiving
this email, if you do not claim your ATM card after this period, it
will be returned to the IMF.

Please note that a copy of this letter has been sent to the above
authority as proof that you have been notified of the immediate
delivery of your ATM card and if you fail to respond in time then this
institution will not be responsible for your ATM card anymore as your
payment file will be cancelled and returned to the IMF as an unclaimed
card therefore kindly reconfirm your full address to ensure conformity
with our record for the immediate dispatch of your ATM card package to
you. Only valid residential/ Office addresses and postal addresses are
certified OK.
