"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: My Dear Beloved

My Dear Beloved,

Please take your time to read this message; although we have never met
before, this is not spam. It's a real message sent to you. I sent this mail
praying for it to reach you in good health, since I myself is in a very
critical health condition in which I sleep every night without knowing if I
may be alive to see the next day.

I'm Mrs.Bridget Hemmant, a widow suffering from blood cancer. I have some
money that I inherited from my late husband, the sum of $19,950,000.00
(Nineteen million Nine Hundred and Fifty Thousand US Dollars ). After
knowing my condition, I decided to work with a reliable and trustworthy
investment Trustee.

I made this decision so I can focus on my treatment while you process the
fund investment in accordance with our agreement. I want your sincere and
urgent reply to know if you can complete this project and I will give you
more information.

I urgently await your reply.

Kind regards,
Mrs.Bridget Hemmant
