"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Compensation of US$400.000 to you

Dear Friend,

I am happy to inform you about my success in finally getting my
inheritance funds transferred under the cooperation of a new dedicated
charity organization referred to me by the UNESCO organization.
Presently I am in New Delhi, India where I am making arrangements to
have the rest of my money transferred to the USA. However, I didn't
forget your past efforts and attempts to assist me in securing of this
deposit from the bank and transferring the funds to your custody,
despite that it failed us somehow.

I have made adequate reservation to reward you for this noble attempts
and I have made a certified bank draft worth the sum of
US$400.000.00(Four Hundred Thousand US Dollars) in your favor which I
deposited with the pastor of my church in Cascais Portugal with
standing instruction to forward this check package to you when you
contact him with a proof of your identification, and you're receiving
address.

Kindly contact the pastor of my church, in Cascais Portugal.
Pastor David Omeijele
Email: pastordavidomei9@gmail.com

And place a formal order to them to ship this certified bank draft
package to you, which I kept for your compensation for all the past
efforts and attempts to assist me in this matter. I appreciated your
efforts at that time very much. So feel free and get in touched with
the Pastor David, and instruct him where to ship the package to you.

Please do let me know immediately you receive it so that we can share
the joy after all the sufferer at that time.

Yours Faithfully,
John Robinson
