"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This is Delivery Company in the USA, the management of this company wishes
to inform you that we received a parcel containing an ATM Master Card
valued $5.5million USD with some vital documents attached on it, for safe
delivery to your residential address. We were directed to contact you as
regards the shipment of your ATM card $5.5million USD package by the United
Nations office here in the USA. We just received the items to be couriered
to you from an official of the United Nations informing us that the said
fund is United Nations Compensation Fund. These include an ATM card,
classified documents and Pin Certificate.

This parcel was brought to us yesterday from the United Nations office to
our office for immediate delivery to your house address. please reconfirm
the below
information, to avoid delivery of your ATM Master Card to the wrong hand.

ensure that they are valid. Rest assured that your ATM card package has
been confirmed valid and true.

proceed for safety delivery of your package as soon as you reconfirm the
required information for safety delivery.
