"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This may be a strange message to you and a supersize letter. We neither know each other nor have ever met each other in life before. Please kindly accept this letter and kindly give attention. Maybe you normally receive similar letters from the internet before. It is my wish to solicit assistance from you to be the investment manager.

Do you have any attainable business proposal that needs funding? I am acting on behalf of a family who is cautious due to political and confidential reasons. Be assured that more details will be divulged upon indicating interest.

For the security of their funds, the family will be willing to invest or fund both short and long-term projects. Should you be interested to engage us for a more detailed discussion on the aforementioned proposal, we would be glad to do so in whatever medium appropriate for this engagement.

The funds will be sent out through bank-to-bank transfer upon proof of feasibility study conformable to be viable and demonstration of managerial skill to prove that the principal amount being invested will be secured, I got your contact during my search for a reliable and competent company or individual to form partnership in the area of investment. Details of the investment and funding will be furnished to you when I receive your response. This letter may be in your Spam email. I am sorry if you see it in your spam email.
