"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I sent you an email earlier on and yet to hear from you. Let me reintroduce my email again to you and please reply immediately.

I am pleased to introduce myself to you though it may surprise you receiving this letter from me since there hasn't been previous correspondence between us. Nevertheless, I am Mr. Leslier Saunders, an attorney at law / solicitor with Saunders & Associates LLP which is a reputable law firms here in England.

A client of mine died and he left behind the sum of 10,500,000.00 Euro, as a personal attorney to my late client who originated from your country, the bank has asked me to provide them my late client's next of kin to whom they will return the fund, I need your consent to present you to the bank as the next of kin; they will transfer the 10,500,000 Euro to you and we could both invest the funds in your country and donate part of the inheritance to help the charity too.
