"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

dealings with impostors. I wish to inform you that a resolution has
been reached by members of the payment committee to get your funds
cleared and delivered to your home address within a period of 72 hours
solemnly agreed by Board of Trustee of the United Nations World
Re-compensation Commission (U.N.W.R.C). A VISA MASTER CARD containing
the sum of Four Million Two Hundred Thousand United States Dollars
($4,200,000.00USD) has been issued in your Favor.

Secondly, as a result of widespread fraud over the internet and to
avoid abuse of the program we will provide you details of the VISA
GOLD CARD upon your response.

We have arranged your payment through the ATM debit Card which you
will use to withdraw your money in any ATM machine or POS in your
country or any part of the world, but the maximum you can withdraw is
(US$10,000) per day this is what the Banking Instructions Stated,if
you like to receive your fund in this way.
