"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: God Bless You Amen

My Beloved in Christ Jesus,
Calvary Greetings To You. I am Mrs Helene Peterson from Solomon Island, a
devoted Christian, married to Late Dr Jonathan Peterson. My Late Husband
worked as a Consultant in an Exportation Firm In Ivory Coast for years
before getting appointed as a Director Solomon Island Exportation
Corporation.Since my husband's death on 3 January 2022 I have been sick,
recently My doctor said that the sickness has gotten to a bad stage. When my
Late husband was alive, he made a deposit of USD860.000.00 (Eight Hundred
And Sixty Thousand United States Dollars) in a bank in Ivory Coast. This is
our life time savings. Me and my late husband were saving the money hoping
to set up a company to Invest in Cocoa Exportation From Ivory Coast.
Knowing my present health condition, I have decided to donate this money
out for charity purposes. Dear, I have personal love for Koreans because
of their hard work, sincerity and good Christian life. I want to transfer
this money to you. I want you to use 90% of this money to help in the
church, the poor orphans, disabled, sick and homeless within your city in
South Korea, then take the remaining amount to take care of your own home.
I took this decision because I cannot abandon the money in the bank,
besides me and my late husband vowed to use our last wealth to help the
poor. All I want from you is to receive this money and accomplish my last
wish, as I want this to be the last good thing I did on earth before death
comes, so that even in death my soul shall rest in peace. If you are
sincerely ready from your heart to do this goodwill service write to me so
that I will give you more details. Thank and Remain Blessed.. Yours Loving
Sister
Mrs Helene Peterson
