"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Please forgive my unusual manner of contacting.I got your contact
through my internet searching due to the same last name of my
late client, that is the main reason why I really need your full
attention and cooperation. My name is Mr. Abdullah Mohammed,
managing director with an Investment Bank here.
This particular letter is exceptional and very private in nature.
I have a beneficial legal deal in fund of $22.500.000.00 for you
specially.
This amount was deposited in the bank here by my late client, a
national of your country of which I have a legal permission to
present you as the heir to inherit this fund for our mutual
benefit since he has no surviving next of kin registered with the
bank upon the time of deposit.I want to believe you are honest
and God fearing person to deal with, please I can't say much now,
reply me for further details and elucidation.
