"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello dear

Greetings from this side with respect and hope you are doing great. My
pleasure to write you this letter, which I believe will be a surprise to
you as we have never met before, Please forgive this unusual manner of
contacting you but this particular letter is exceptional and very private
in nature.

Once again, I am deeply sorry if I have in any manner disturbed your
privacy.

Greetings my friend, with respect, I am Barrister. Bobson george, from
Lome-Togo, a solicitor at law. I am making this proposal to you in respect
to the death of Late (Mr. Cho Tae ) who was my client until his death in a
motorway accident leaving the sum of ( $ 5.6 million ) in a bank here.

I seek your consent to present you as the next of kin to my late client
since you are a foreigner, so that the bank will transfer the money to you
for our mutual benefit.

I sent you an email last month about this same deal but I'm unaware if I
receive any response from you, please if you are interested, just get back
to me immediately for more information on how we can proceed without much
delay.

Best Regards
