"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings! To You
Mr. Joe is my name; I personally handle transactions of Mr. Martin Quick
who eventually died on the 9th of March 2020 of a heart attack at the age
of 65, 3 years ago. Before his death, Mr. Martin Quick had his enterprises
included engineering, construction, maintenance petroleum, water,
chemicals, and was a Contractor with AML Co.

He has (Seven Million, Three Hundred Thousand United State Dollars) in a
fixed account with the bank without any next of kin to inherit the
deposited amount. I write to seek your consent to present you as a foreign

The deposited fund will be approved to you as the only beneficiary for our
mutual benefits. If by the end of this year nobody comes up to claim the
fund, it will be moved to a government account as an unclaimed fund. Please
reply back only if you can work with me on this profitable deal.
