"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hi

Dearest beloved!

I am glad to know you, but God knows you better and he knows why he
has directed me to you at this point in time so to say. I am
Causanille Rovira Maria JOSE, and I have been suffering from ovarian
cancer disease and the doctor says that I have short time to survive.
I am from Spain residing in Burkina Faso since fifteen years ago as a
business woman dealing with mining equipment for gold exportation due
to my present
condition I cannot make move.

I also have US$5.5 million in a bank; here in Burkina Faso, but my
mind is not at rest because I am sending this message through the help
of my laptop at the hospital on my sick bed. My main aim is I want you
to apply for this fund with the documents I shall send to you as the
beneficiary through the assistance of my lawyer here, but you will
assure me that you will take 50% of the money and invest 50% on
orphanages home in your country or any where this has always been my
duty for my heart to rest with GOD.

As soon as I receive your good intention I shall give you the contact
to my lawyer who will provide the necessary documents for you to apply
to the bank. Waiting to hear from you for necessary operation, May the
Pace of Almighty God be with you.

Best regards
Mrs, Causanille Rovira Maria JOSE
