"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: My Dear Beloved

My Dear Beloved

May the peace of God be with you and your family. It is with profound respect for your time. Excuse me for my English, my first language is French, but I plead to state the following few lines for your kind consideration. I know it will be a great surprise reading from me today but consider this a divine intervention as a pastor explained to my understanding. Please spare some of your valuable minutes to read the following appeal with a sympathetic mind and understanding.

I got your contact email address on the internet in my search for a reputable, reliable, and trustworthy person who can stand confidently with me.

I am Mrs. Elizabeth Edward, I am 79 years old deaf, and a widow, I am dropping this short message from my sick bed after being diagnosed with Cancer of the Lungs for three months now.

From all indications, my condition is really deteriorating, and my doctor has courageously advised that I have just a few weeks to live, this is because the Seriousness of the cancer has reached a critical stage. I am looking for trust and Good someone to confide in.

I have a fortune ($28.5M) I want to entrust into your care. You will use this money part for your family and to help the needy, motherless, orphans, and widows because I am also one, as my late husband's relatives want me dead so that they will claim all my late husband and I worked for. You can also reach out to those in need in the Turkey earthquake and Ukraine war. Please respond to me if you promise to see my last wish will be accomplished to the Glory of God, Allah, and humanity.

As soon as I hear from you, I will give you more information on this if you accept to carry out my last dying wish before I rest in peace.

Best Regards.

Mrs. Elizabeth Edward
