"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

I am Heinrich Thompson, an expert in corporate and legal claims;
I'm a partner with the following firms, Thompson & Associates,
and Legal merits consultant.

I'm contacting you in regards to a deceased client who died of an
ailment likened to coronavirus at University College Hospital
London March 2020, he is a prominent client of mine. He happens
to share the same Last name with
you.

Prior to his demise, my client has in deposit a large sum of
money at the vault of a financial institution, documentations
regarding these transaction indicates that claims can only be
made by his relative/family member. Unfortunately he had no will
at the time of his death. All efforts made revealed no specific
link to any of his family member as the
beneficiary.

Kindly confirm your relationship with my client and contact me as
soon as possible for more information.
