"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Urgent

Assalamu alaikum (Peace be unto you):

I'm Saif Hamed, A Nationality of Hamas. We Civilians are
under the threat/Hardship of Israel, Which has escalated into an
insurgency following to
soldiers killing civilians and Chemical attacks which have killed
thousand of peoples and displaced many citizens and destroyed
properties/business which you can find out over the TV/Newspapers.

We are all in tears and pressure because we do not know what may
happen next, we run a joint family business and our family is very
successful Agriculture and also I am a consultant in some industries
in Hamas and privately dealing several Businesses (Goldsmith
Business).

NOTE: We wish to relocate out from Hamas to your country to start our
life over again with the money I had saved from farming and my
Goldsmith Business.

We are left behind some reasonable amount of $11, 820, 000 and lots of
Gold and jewelries worth over $9,800,000 which I have already
deposited in a courier company waiting for someone that I can trust to
receive it for me abroad while we look for how to come over.

As you may or may not know, the sanctions imposed by the United State
America have made it nearly impossible to successfully operate any type
of investment here in Hamas or to even transfer money from here to
other parts of the world. For this reason, I'm contacting you in
great confidence with the hope that you could help me get out from
here and investment purposes which will be guided by you.

As I write you now, we are under a Hideout to save our life, I'm
ready to give your 40% of the total money and also some Gold/jewelries
as compensation for helping us.

I will provide more details on your response but if you are not ready
to help us, do not get back to me.

Best Regards,
Mr. Saif Hamed
